Proof of Heaven found by Neurosurgeon

He said “I was rescued by this beautiful, spinning, white light that had a melody, an incredibly beautiful melody with it that opened up into a bright valley,….an extremely verdant valley with blossoming flowers and a just incredible, rich, ultra-real world of indescribable complexity…..My first memories from when I was deep inside: I had no language, all my earthly memories were gone,…I had no body awareness at all. I was just a speck of awareness in kind of a dark, murky environment, in roots or vessels or something. And I seemed to be there for a very long time — I would say years. “. Dr. Alexander has written a new book called “Proof of Heaven”. In it he describes from a purely scientific point of view, how his experience must have been real because so much of his brain was destroyed that it could not dream or hallucinate.

From his description there is no doubt his experience was real as spiritual practitioners who meditate have often encountered similar visions. Lets look at other things he said before describing the significance of what he saw. As a Neurosurgeon from Harvard and Duke affiliate; his words carry much weight on the proof of heaven.

• there was a young woman (later he identified her as his guardian angel; a sister he had never met or knew of before as he was adopted) who soared across time and space with him on a butterfly wing and gave him a message to take back from Heaven. “She looked at me, and this was with no words, but the concepts came straight into mind: You are love; you are cherished; there’s nothing you have to fear; there’s nothing you can do wrong,” 

• God was there as a vast presence of love, and Alexander understood God through an orb of brilliant light. “It was all of eternity and all of conscious existence…But it was this brilliant orb of light that was almost as necessary as a translator to bring in that message from the divine and the incredible”

God works in mysterious ways, it’s not the first time proof has been given to humanity in such an obvious, no-brainer-way. Yet, there are more sceptics than believers. Even as a scientist who understands the human brain better than anyone, the sceptics still say he was hallucinating. God arranged for his brain damage (proven by scan’s) to be so severe that the inner experience was beyond doubt, and for a neurosurgeon to have the experience to help people to believe it. Surely a brain surgeon would be more sceptic than anyone else?

If we look at this situation without emotion and using a logical mind, then we would have to conclude there must be some truth to what he said; but can we believe it.

Two important things he said, the bright light and melody. This is known as light & sound or Shabd. It’s the original and most ancient method to eternal liberation taught by great masters. It’s known as the word in the Christian bible. God has no form except infinite, brilliant, loving light. The light comes from vibration or melodies.

“blossoming flowers and a just incredible, rich, ultra-real world of indescribable complexity” refers to Heaven,or more precisely the Heavens found in the astral world (there are many levels and types of Heaven, we go to one based on what we did during life). From descriptions of past disciples from Buddha‘s time to current practitioners, we know Heaven is without equal. In our world we have both positivity and negativity so we see many ugly things, not only caused by man but also by nature. In Heaven all is perfect, no killing, no dying, no aging, no struggle, no evil. If we desire something we only need a thought to make it manifest. The place itself is so blissful (the feeling or vibration) that we feel we are home with God and don’t want to leave; regardless of how attached we were when on Earth.

And I seemed to be there for a very long time — I would say years.”, Our body is not us, our thoughts, memories, relatives, talents or country do not define us. We are the soul that uses a body like we use clothes. Hence when out of the body the memories and attachment are gone, and we return to our original state. A God being, being God. In the higher realms time is different. In a split second here on Earth, we could have experienced the ALL in Heaven. That’s why when we meditate and allow our soul to leave the body, just for a second at times if we cannot concentrate, we make progress. Our consciousness slowly unlearn and knows everything with doing anything; because we allow our soul the freedom to return home.

“who soared across time and space with him on a butterfly wing ” describes the reality. There is no space-time, it is part of the illusion of separation we souls were created for. God just exists, in the infinite. The woman was symbolic only, as God appears in any form we like or have some affinity with. The butterfly wing is also symbolic, of the beauty and tenderness of God almighty.

“God was there as a vast presence of love” says it all. God has no form. Love is all there is; pure, boundless and infinite love. These words do not do it justice, suffice to say the human brain cannot fathom the depth of God.

The message is simple, we are the children of God. This world is not real, good and bad do not exist, we are only here to take park in a play of life, to live life wholeheartedly and thus Glorify God through our individual experiences. That is the meaning of life.

There is no need to be lost in the karma, be at peace and know who we really are so bliss and joy can enter our being.
